Hey Internet Friends,
We all know by now how utterly obsessed I am with the Naked 3 palette and today whilst out shopping in my local super drug I ventured right the back where they keep the less known brands and stumbled across possibly the perfect dupe to Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Palette.
As you may or may not know the Naked 3 palette is a mostly rose toned palette by Urban Decay, for my full review of the product you can click HERE
The Brand which I think has created the perfect dupe is Revolution, a brand which up until today I had never heard of so lets have a bit of a back story shall we?
Makeup Revolution launched in London in March 2014 and have released a affordable products on mass ever since, they currently have over 300 products in their collection all at low cost prices.
This is the palette in question, retailing in superdrug stores for £4 and just look at it! I knew before I saw the massive DUPE sticker on the shelf talker what this product was trying to be. But can it live up to Naked 3…
They are incredibly similar, nobody can deny that.
Incredibly similar shades to Naked 3
Low price at £4 for 12 eyeshadows
The pigmentation is strong
Very little fall out
The actual palette is small and compact so would be perfect for travel.
So some of the shades do rub off a lot more through the day then the Naked 3.
It comes with those silly foam applicators instead of an actual real brush.
The packaging feels cheap.
Its not an Urban Decay Product, the packaging is cheap looking and it makes you feel nowhere near as special as the Naked 3 does. Personally.
But for £4 and with the truly brilliant pigmentation I don’t see what there is to complain about, if you want to have the colours from the naked palette for certain looks or tutorials this really is a brilliant dupe. I loved the idea of this so much I bought a Contour palette from the same brand for £3.
Do you have any amazing drugstore dupes you can recommend to me?
How do you feel about companies making copies of high end products?
