Hey Internet Friends,
Today after a long day at the park with my extended family my skin really needed a pick me up so I thought I might try the skin mask I picked up yesterday Brazened Honey from Lush. I just wanted to give you a quick post about what the mask is for and my first impressions
Lets get cracking shall we…
On Lush’s website they state that the mask will
“Wake up your skin with this fresh face mask containing fresh fennel, ginger root, parsley and coriander to detox and stimulate. We use a sage, rosemary and juniperberry infusion with cardamom and clove bud oils for their antiseptic qualities, fresh lime juice to cleanse the skin and free range eggs, honey and almond oil to soothe and moisturise.”
How to use.
Due to the natural ingredients in this mask it must be kept in the fridge meaning when you apply it to your skin it will be fairly cool.
I find the cool feeling very relaxing and it instantly makes you feel like its really working, if that makes sense?
You take a big scoop of the mask out of the cute little sustainable packaging and apply it generously all over your face avoiding eyes and lips.
Wait 10 minutes and then rinse under warm water.
I like to do this in the shower as its much easier and less messy.
The texture and Smell.
This is a fairly thick mask in consistency and applies similar to the mask of magnaminty.
I actually really like the smell from this mask, I’ve heard a lot of people say differently but I don’t find it a strong mask like most lush products and think it smells rather fresh and light.
The mask will set hard after about 10 minutes and this isn’t for everyone but to me, it makes it feel like its really working!
Ive used this mask once so it is still early days but after the first application my skin already feels ridiculously soft and moisturised.
Another thing that I cant not mention, my pores are practically invisible after the first use and my skin looks more glowing and fresher with less redness.
Im looking forward to using this product more and I think it might become one of my favourites!
Have you tried the Brazened Honey Mask? What do you think?
What are your other favourite skin masks? Im always open to suggestions?
