London Haul : Benefit, Lush & Libertys

Hey Internet Friends,

As promised here are the lovely goodies I picked up whilst in London. HAUL TIME!

DSC06526
Lets start with….

Lush Oxford Street

As you saw from my last post lush oxford street is a place of dreams but I had to show some self control! As I am moving to a new place soon that finally has a bath I decided it might be a smart idea to stock up on mainly bath products but as always with a visit to lush I had to get a little something extra too…

I decided to go for some oxford street exclusives and some everyday Lush addict staples.
I picked up:
Butterball Bath Bomb – So cute, so pure and so fresh!
Intergalactic Bath Bomb – because you just have too don’t you.
Two Bath Melts – so cute, so cheap and smell divine!
Hottie Massage Bar – Luxury in bar shaped, if you thought chocolate was your favourite thing shaped as a bar think again!
Cyanide Pill Bath Bomb – How can something that looks so pretty not be amazing?
Big Blue Bath Bomb – Sometimes bigger truly is better!

Then I went for a little nosey in Liberty’s…

Liberty of London is known for a lot of things but mostly for being incredibly luxuries, walking into that beautiful atrium of scarves that flows beautifully through cosmetics, chocolates and designer accessories how could you not feel transported into a simpler more beautiful time.

I know what your thinking, is that it? Well yes my loyal and brilliant readers that is it and let me tell you for why.
I received a sample of this lip moisturiser a while ago and I’ve been absolutely OBSESSED with finding it again ever since. Its amazing, its super nourishing and they sell it at Liberty’s.

Now this is where I went a tiny bit mental….

The Benefit Shop

If you come to this blog often then you know that Benefit is one of my brands, I am loyal to all my favourite brands but theres just something about the benefit products that really deserve my attention. The products, the packaging and the overall atmosphere of the brand. So when I found the benefit shop I just couldn’t resist.

The lovely lady at the Benefit shop gave me a bunch of free samples.

I bought the new Cheekathon palette that contains 5 blushes and bronzers all of which I love and I think are incredibly versatile. Beautifully packaged and with an amazing mirror.
I love the idea of having all my blushes and bronzers in one place so this product is perfect for me.

I also grabbed the Porefessional Pore away kit, I feel I owe porefessionl another shot.
So lets see how I get on with this.

Hope you guys enjoyed this Haul post.

What products have you picked up recently that you’re super happy with?

Current Favourites!

Hey Internet Friends,

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! Well you beautiful people, as you know if your a loyal reader of this blog Ive started a new job recently and its been a lot more than I bargained for! I am so busy! I love blogging and I love all of you so hopefully things can calm down soon, I am thinking of changing my post day to Sunday so its a bit easier, how would you feel about that?

Today I want to do a quick catch up with all of you and talk about some of the things I have been LOVING recently. Everything from room fragrance to teeth whitening.
You ready?

DSC06316Wax Melts!
Have you guys tried these yet? Absolutely amazing. Imagine your favourite yankee candle just ten times cheaper and much safer!
I absolutely love candles but Im always scared to leave them on overnight or for a really long time. With this amazing electric wax melter you can burn your favourite scent safely and for so much longer.
The burner itself is beautiful ceramic with intricate detail so it doesn’t look out of place in my living room.
The Yankee Wax Melts are also only £1 and last for a few days burning continuously.
Brilliant product, if you haven’t got one already, what are you waiting for?!

DSC06327

Yes to Body Wash!
Amazing amazing amazing!
They come in a variety of different scents but these two are my favourites.
These products are super kind to the skin and leave your entire body feeling silky smooth and squeaky clean.
I don’t know about you, but I like a lot of soap and foam in my body wash and these natural products really pack a punch when it comes to the amount of bubbles. Absolutely divine!
And the smell, where do I even start with the smell! Amazingly luxurious and smell like little soapy smoothies.

DSC06330.jpg

My love for Mac has never been a quiet affair, I practically scream it from the rooftops most of the time but over the past months the drugstore has really been calling out to me.
Unfortunately with my new job where Im out of the house for unto 11 hours a day the drugstore foundation and lipsticks were just not doing the trick, they were leaving my skin patchy and sad.

The Mac Pro Longwear is absolutely brilliant for a long day and looks just as good in the 11th hour then it did in the first especially when you combine it with the Mac Studio Fix powder. The photo below is after 9 hours of wear, pretty impressive right?

I am also loving the Mac lipstick in MEHR MATTE.
Its the perfect shade for the office and it lasts for a super long time, only really coming off when you eat.
Its not an overpowering shade and really would complement any skin tone.

Using Charcoal to whiten teeth.
Now hear me out! I know what your thinking, Charcoals black.
And your right charcoal is black but it does amazing things to remove toxins and staining.
I just take one of the little capsules, mix it with my toothpaste and use it on my teeth.
Easy Peasy!
I then rinse with 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide 6% and 4 parts water.

If you want to hear more about charcoal teeth whitening let me know and I’ll do a full post on it?

Hope you guys enjoyed this current favourites post,

As always leave me links to posts you think I’ll like.

Beat the January Blues…

Hey Internet Friends,

Apologise that I missed a post, I haven’t been well but thought I had enough scheduled posts to keep the blog running. Apparently I counted wrong!
January is always a tough all month with a lot of us feeling down in the dumps, me included so as soon as I was feeling up to it I popped into town and picked up some bits and bobs to make me feel better.

title
I got a collection of things to make me feel a little better to cover all different areas of my personal life. So shall I show you what I picked up?

hairNew year new you? Not so much but new year new hair colour sounds pretty good! I love the Live XXL colours from Schwarzkopf and thought I’d give the cosmic blue colour a shot, Im hoping its going to go like black with a blue shine under the light.
I always use Silvikrin hairspray in level 5 because once Ive done my hair I like it to stay put! A nice big new can is always a mood boost for me.
I also got another tub of the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment I recently reviewed because Im already starting to notice a real difference.

faceI know I have enough Foundation to sink a battle ship but hear me out? Ok?
I love the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and think its a real diamond product for a great price but I especially love mixing it with my Mac Studio Fix Fluid. I find that mixing the two leads to a perfect skin base with just the right colour and desired finish.
Not to mention it makes the more expensive Mac foundation last so much longer.
The wake me up concealer is my go to concealer I love how well it reduces redness and doesn’t go cakey so I thought seen as I need cheering up a new full one might be a bit lovely.

skinThis is a product I’ve never tried before but it just looked so luxurious that I just couldn’t resist.
No7 says about it
An indulgent treat for your skin.Give yourself an indulgent start to the day with this cleansing shower oil. With a combination of nourishing Argan Oil, hydrating Grapeseed Oil and Almond Oil combined with Vitamin E, this gently foaming oil truly transforms your everyday shower. Forumlated with high oil levels which work to condition the skin and moisturise all day long. The oil’s lather gently cleanses, leaving your body feeling soft, supple and hydrated.Hypo-allergenic: Because all skin can have sensitive moments, all our products are hypo-allergenic using ingredients we know and trust.

Im really excited to try this product as I think it will be a real treat for the skin and will make showers extra special.
Exactly what you need in January.

diaryI honestly cant believe its taken this long for me to get a new diary! Its normally one of the first things I do in January and I look forward to it the most.
I got this cute spotty one from Paperchase and it has a page a day and a shared page on weekends so its perfect for what I need.

I hope you enjoyed this little beat the January blues post.

What do you guys do to beat your January blues?

My Skincare Collection 2016

Hey Internet Friends,

The time has come for a very long post, so grab a nice hot chocolate and get comfy because today I want to share with you my Skincare collection.

title

I only really started having a massive interest in different skincare products at the beginning of last year and since then Ive built myself a nice little collection, I’d love to be able to take them from the bag they currently live in and display them properly but until then I shall just have to share them with you lovely lot!

title

Ive broken this post down into a few manageable little chunks so you can see the collection properly.
In my last post I showed you my Liz Earle products so if you want to read more about that you can do so.

Right, lets get cracking!

Burt’s Bees DSC05461
The Burt’s Bees original lip balm I always have in my handbag because its so nourishing and great for dry lips.
The foot cream and companion lip balm is a coconut scent that really is great for chapped and dry skin.
Smells amazing too!

I love Burt’s Bees products because not only are they super hydrating and brilliant little products but its also an incredibly ethical company that cares greatly about encouraging the environment and sustainability.

Soap & GloryDSC05478Heel Genius is a brilliant food cream that makes your feet feel like there wrapped in soft and lovely cotton wool.
The Hand food is super nourishing and hydrating for even the sorest dry hands.
The righteous butter smells amazing and leaves you feeling all silky smooth and wonderful.
The sun kissed tint body lotion and cleansing milk is new to my collection so I’ll have to get back to you with the results!

I absolutely loved all the Soap and Glory shower products so progressing to there skincare range was really natural for me, I love all the scents, the packaging is quirky and cool and the products themselves really are phenomenal in terms of results.
One of my favourite high street brands and for the price tag you really cant go wrong.

The Body Shop
DSC05504
The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands and especially there skincare products.
The tea tree range is great for oily and troubled skin and whilst I don’t use it all the time it is great when break outs occur, within that range I have the foam cleaner and lotion.
The hemp hand cream is a really thick cream that is so nourishing its untrue but is better for nighttime as it takes so long to soak in.
The white musk hand cream is one of my favourite hand creams ever and I love it dearly, its fast drying and fast acting.
The body clay is not my favourite product, Ive used it a handful of times and I honestly don’t understand what all the fuss is about….

Mixed Brands Body SkincareDSC05488The Nivea Creme is a staple in any skincare collection, everybody should and probably does have this amongst there collection.
If my Grandma says its good then you know its true, you can read more about that HERE

The Body Shop Body Butters really are fantastic products and come in a wide range of scents featured here are the Chocomania, Moringa and Olive.

Mixed Face CreamsDSC05491Simple Night cream is a brilliant inexpensive products that can slip easily into any skincare routine.
The Nivea Express Hydration Primer is a nice cream but in terms of primer it isnt brilliant, Id usually wear this under a long lasting foundation like Mac.
The Nivea light moisturising day cream is another inexpensive product thats great for no make up days around the house.
My Yes to tomatoes moisturiser is what I use most days as its so hydrating and really makes a difference to make up application. I love this product.

Mixed Lip BalmsDSC05512

Who doesn’t love a good lip balm? Its one of the items I’d make sure to take on a desert island.
Ive ordered these in the order that I prefer them.
The Malin + Goetz is so deeply nourishing its incredibly and whilst the Vaseline is still a great product it can be a little messy.

Shower Essentials
DSC05515These are all the bits and pieces I keep in the shower, so things like scrubs, face washes and exfoliators.

The Body Shop Vitamin Scrubs are brilliant depending on what your skins craving at that moment and I feel I can usually get a good result with either the Vitamin E or Vitamin C scrub whereas the Simple oil balancing scrub is better for when my face is behaving.

The scrubs are more of a luxury than a skincare necessity, although I feel they really do improve the overall quality of my skin I could probably live without them but they smell amazing and leave you feeling silky smooth.

Hope you guys enjoyed this skincare collection post, I know these are my favourite kinds of post to read so I was desperate to share it with you guys.

If you have a similar post you think I’ll like please leave me a link in the comments.

My Daily Date with Liz Earle

Hey Internet Friends,

Liz Earle, every beauty blogger talks about it, every skincare addict loves it. I have introduced two Liz Earle products into my daily routine and I can totally see what all the hypes about….

title

The two products Ive recently started using is the infamous Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer.
Absolutely love them both and the improvement in my skin over the two weeks Ive had them is phenomenal.

c&p

Such a simple and stress free process, you simply apply the product to a dry or make up covered face using the pump bottle making it super mess free. You then take the muslin cloth that comes with it and use warm water to remove the product, all your make up and leaving your face beautifully squeaky clean.

onskin

Its a brilliant process thats so simple you don’t mind doing it twice a day, it smells absolutely divine, it removes make up almost instantly and it leaves your skin feeling so clean and healthy its honestly a miracle product.

DSC05452

The instant boost skin tonic spritzer is the easiest toner Ive ever come across, no cotton pads needed!
You simply spray it directly onto your face and its instantly soothing and refreshing, I usually do this straight after using the cleanser and again before I get into bed because it makes me feel fantastic.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post,

Have you tried any of the Liz Earle products, what did you think?

Would you be interested in seeing my entire skincare collection?

bshaultitle

Ohhhhh pretty! Lets have a look at what I picked up…

Red Musk Scent
redmusk
The scent for this is unlike no other, containing all spices and no flowers it really is the perfect warm fragrance with ingredients  Tobacco, Pepper and Cinnamon its beautifully different.

The presentation of this product is really beautiful with the dark red colours its really different than so many female fragrances. Its simple, elegant and perfect suits the warming notes of the scent.

Im delighted that I have this in my collection and cant wait to make it my signature winter scent.
Warm, spicy and cruelty free – what more could a girl want!

Frosted Cranberry Sugar Scrub
scrub
You guys know how much I love a good sugar scrub, this one smells absolutely divine using Cranberry Extracts from North America its beautiful in colour and I cant wait to try it!

Vitamin E Exfoliator
vite
The Body Shop says this is “A light and creamy facial scrub to gently exfoliate without irritating the skin, leaving it feeling smooth, soft and refined.

I personally just liked the idea of this as its more cream based and should feel a lot more soothing than most exfoliators.

All in one Concealer in the shade 00DSC04834
This is a really full coverage concealer thats perfect for covering up dark circles and redness, I am constantly on the look out for good concealers and maybe, just maybe this will fulfil my needs!

Hope you guys enjoyed this tiny Haul,

Have you guys tried any of these products?

2015 Favourites: Make Up, Skincare & Nail Colours

Hey Internet Friends,

New year new you?! Not for me. I like me and I like what I like so lets check out the make up, skincare and nail colours that have really stood out to me and become a firm favourite throughout the year….

New Years Eve Is Celebrated In London With A Huge Firework Display

Make Up
MAKEUP

Urban Decay Naked Smoky – I am now the proud obsessive owner of not one but two of these beauties! There so versatile, I use it every single day and its brilliant.
You can read my full review HERE

My Mascara of choice throughout this year was the Benefit They’re Real! Its a brilliant mascara that makes your lashes look so incredibly and I’ve loved it for so long, the one featured in this image was a competition win from the wonderful Shanice or damascenesnf.com, you can read my full post about the Giveaway HERE

The Foundation I have been absolutely obsessed with this year is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid, its the perfect coverage for me with a matte finish and goes light enough for my very pale skin.

Hoola by Benefit will forever be my favourite bronzer, its a matte finish and thats really hard to find. It has a great buildable coverage and is so versatile.

The Lipsticks Ive been LOVING this year are nudes! Two of my favourites are the Kate Moss for Rimmel 101 and Mac’s Please Me in a Matte Finish.
Absolutely gorgeous, you can read more about that HERE

Skincare
skincare

This was so hard for me! I love skincare, its just my thing!
Maybe I should do a skincare collection post for you guys?
Is that something you would like?

The first thing is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish – this stuff is an absolute miracle product. I love it more than any other product I own, it cleanses your face incredibly well and you can actually FEEL the difference immediately.
If you don’t own it then change that.

Yes to Tomatoes moisturiser is perfect for my oily skin and really makes your face fully prepared for make up and all the tough things it goes through. Also, I haven’t had a single break out since I added this into my skincare routine.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius – This shouldn’t just be the Heel Genius, it should be every soap & glory product ever! I love this brand so much, I finally tried it rather late into the year and now I literally can not get enough of it!

Nail Colours
DSC05285

I love Barry M products, the colours are so vibrant and only need two coats at most. They dry evenly and quickly and I don’t see a need to ever try another Nail Paint brand.
The colours above are the ones I have used the most this year.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post,

I want to thank all of you for your constant support, the love you’ve shown me has been phenomenal and more than I ever imaged. I look forward to growing a bigger community next year and sharing more things with you.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You! Happy New Year!

What I got for Christmas 2015

Hey Internet Friends,

Ive seen so many bloggers and youtubers doing posts like this and I absolutely love looking at them so I thought it would be nice if I did one too! As I sit and write this on Christmas Day evening I am quickly reminded of how lucky I am for the wonderful family that I have surrounding me and although this post is about material things that certainly isn’t what Christmas is about for me, the gifts are just an extra bonus. Now, lets do this!

crackerIm going to cut out most of the silly little bits for you guys and just show you the main big daddy beast presents!

Radley
radleyOk, so technically I didn’t get the bag on the left as a ‘Christmas Present’ but my glamorous gran did give it to me on Christmas Day!
The one on the right is a smaller bag than I’d normally choose with softer leather and do you know what? I absolutely love it.
I love both of them so much that I think the next time I go out I’ll really struggle which one to take with me!

Soap & Glory
s&g
How great is my fiancé?
He managed to pick me the Soap & Glory whole She-Bang and I absolutely love it!
Clean on me Moisture Shower Gel
Sugar Crush Body Buffer
The Righteous Butter
Hand Food Hand Cream
Heel Genius Foot Cream
Thick & Fast Mascara
Peaches & Clean Cleansing Milk
The Righteous Butter Sunkissed tint lotion
Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss
And a gorgeous Cosmetics case that I think I shall use to store the majority of my skincare as it really does need a proper home other than a box under my bed!

Sony Alpha 5000 Lenses
lenses
How exciting! My mum & dad got me a super amazing set of lenses for my blogging camera the Sony Alpha 5000 and a really cool case to keep it all in!
They very kindly got me the E mount 3.5/30 Macro Lense
&
the E Mount 55-210mm Zoom Lense.
So not only will that allow me to create much more impressive blog photo’s but also really pursue my passion for photography!

Beauty and Skincare bits & bobs
